Welcome to Programming with Olly. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (www.programmingwitholly.com) and our tutoring services, whether delivered online or in person. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

We offer tutoring services for GCSE and A-Level Maths and Computer Science, available both online and in person. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to:

  • One-on-one tutoring sessions.

  • Group classes or webinars.

  • Access to educational resources and materials.

  • Online courses and self-paced learning modules.

These services are designed to support students in their academic development. However, results may vary, and we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be:

  • At least 18 years of age or have parental consent if you are a minor.

  • A parent or guardian can enroll a child under 18 years of age for tutoring services.

  • Complying with all local, state, and national regulations.
     

4. Account Registration and Usage

You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the website or access our services. By creating an account:

  • You confirm that the information provided is accurate, complete, and current.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • You agree not to share your login details with others and notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to terminate your account at any time for any violation of these Terms or for any activity we deem inappropriate or unlawful.
 

5. Payment and Fees

  • For Online Services: Payment must be made in advance of the booked session, either via our website's payment portal or through an agreed-upon invoice system.

  • For In-Person Services: Payment can be made before the session or via invoice, as agreed upon. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

  • All payments must be made in the currency specified on the invoice or payment portal.

  • You are responsible for any additional fees incurred by third-party payment processors.

  • We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, and you will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.
     

6. Booking, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy

  • Online Tutoring Sessions:

    • Sessions can be booked via our online booking system or by contacting us directly.

    • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to avoid a cancellation fee. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice but more than 12 hours' notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

    • Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice will incur a 100% cancellation charge.

  • Rescheduling Policy:

    • Sessions may be rescheduled upon agreement with Programming with Olly. If a session is rescheduled within the cancellation charge window (less than 24 hours' notice), the cancellation charge will still apply and will be carried over to the rescheduled session. This charge will be added on top of any potential cancellation charge for the rescheduled session, should it also be cancelled.

  • In-Person Tutoring Sessions:

    • In-person sessions are subject to availability and may be booked through direct contact or the website.

    • In the event of bad weather, illness, or other extenuating circumstances, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel in-person sessions.

    • A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations. Late cancellations will incur fees as described above.
       

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, course materials, and digital downloads, is the intellectual property of Programming with Olly unless otherwise stated. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our content without explicit written consent.

  • Unauthorized use of any content may result in termination of services and legal action.
     

8. User Conduct

When using our website or services, you agree to the following:

  • You will not engage in any illegal or unauthorized activities.

  • You will not use the website to promote violence, discrimination, or hate speech.

  • You will not hack, reverse engineer, or otherwise compromise the website’s security or integrity.

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific services in question.

  • We are not responsible for any technical issues, including internet connectivity or software problems, that may disrupt an online tutoring session.

  • We do not guarantee any specific academic results or outcomes from the use of our tutoring services.
     

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, natural disasters, or network outages.
 

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website and services at our discretion, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms or any other policies. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.
 

13. Refund Policy

Refunds will be provided on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are typically not provided for completed services unless there are exceptional circumstances (e.g., a service failure on our part). If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must contact us in writing within 7 days of the service date.
 

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
